Anchorsaway Ministry Link

Anchorsaway is a ministry located in Carmel, Indiana.  This curriculum was designed for seniors in high school, as well as college students, with the hope of teaching them the foundation of the Christian worldview along with several lessons on the issues of our day as seen through the eyes of Christ. Through such experiences, each student should learn what and how to best interact with others with gentleness and respect. Our students, will then be equipped and ready to go out into the world with confidence and excitement to live out their faith in Christ!

This ministry is supported by Castine Student Ministries through representation.  Our intent is to use this material the first of every year for high school seniors and college freshmen.  We encourage you to check out the website for yourself.

Explorations in Antiquity website

The Explorations in Antiquity Center opened in June, 2006 in LaGrange, Ga.  We have visited there several times, and can tell you from a firsthand experience that the scripture garden walk, time tunnel, and biblical meal are the next best thing to a visit to Israel.  Its founder, Dr. Jim Fleming, is an archeaologist, having led 18 digs in the Holy Land.  He is also contracted by the Palestinian Authority and the government of Israel to teach the tour guides in Israel and Palestine the Christian faith aspect for their tours.

The center is comprised of a scripture garden that has several exact reproductions of scenes from Israel from which their tour guides teach.  There is a time tunnel exhibit that shows the various ways worship took place throughout the ages.  A childrens dig area allows children the opportunity to take part in a 'dig' for ancient relics.  Two areas are available for people to participate in a biblical meal, a mix of the traditional Seder meal and the Passover meal, with stories shared focusing on the customs and developing a deeper understanding of what took place during Jesus last supper.
